The next time you
go to Las Vegas and you get a little tired of losing big chunks of your hard
earned money at the blackjack table, get in the car, get back on I-15 and
head north about sixty miles to the Valley of Fire State Park turn-off.
Twenty minutes later you are going to be turned on by the most spectacular
rock formations you will ever see. Cost? A few dollars per car.
Spend the whole day, spend an hour. This may be the best buy in
Nevada. Bring a couple of bottles of water and some snacks.
Bring your hiking boots but don't panic, were talk'n short walks.
Usually less then a mile into stunning canyons. Oh yes, you might want
to bring your camera. Click here to return to home page
