Chatsworth Park....July Morning |
|
It's Thursday again and Maria is busy making our house livable after two weeks of neglect. The Magic Raven and Mrs. Magic Raven packed lightly and took off for a morning adventure. Maria cleans better without us under foot. Our destination is Chatsworth Park. It's just a short distance from our house but surprisingly we haven't explored it yet. Chatsworth Park backs up against the Sandstone hills that divide the San Fernando Valley from Simi Valley. There are many hiking trails that branch off into the hills from Chatsworth Park so we picked one that looked promising and started hiking. |

| Mrs. Magic Raven wanders into an open field of yellow flowers. | It's mid summer and the colors are browns, yellows and greens. |

| These burned branches remain after a fire blazed through here several years ago. | R Rocky balancing act is watched by an admiring Raven. |
