San Pedro...Foggy Morning
The Magic Raven never goes to the desert in late August. It's too hot. He likes the coast line where the fog keeps temperatures comfortable. Who says photography has to be torturous? Besides Maria comes to clean our house on Thursday morning. The Magic raven has learned to be out of the house when Maria cleans.
The Seagulls in San Pedro are not camera shy. They know just how close they are to Hollywood.
Even in the high technology world we live in today, fish nets still command the attention of fisherman in San Pedro. What's interesting is how they got the Seagulls to help.
Jonathon Livingston Seagull posed perfectly for this photo. He would not sign a release until we negotiated a mutually acceptable financial arrangement. The Magic Raven must admit, Seagulls can be difficult models. Mr. Seagull wouldn't pose until he got his morning coffee.
Jonathon posed for this one last photo on the deserted life guard Kiosk before flying off. The Magic Raven had paid for a one hour photo shoot and his one hour was over. Besides, the Raven's feet were getting sore from walking in the sand and he was getting hungry. The Magic Raven put the camera away and went to breakfast.
