Saturday Evening in Oxnard with Friends |
|
Okay, so it wasn't Thursday, it was Saturday, and Maria was not cleaning our house but we got a great invitation from an old friend who is living in Port Hueneme on the beach. Don and Paula even volunteered to cook dinner. We accepted. Mr. and Mrs. Magic Raven like the beach and prefer not to cook whenever possible. Plus Vic and Connie would be there. Vic and Don are a couple of my buddy's from work that I have known for over 35 years. |

| As the sun began to set below the Jetty above Silver Strand Beach I couldn't resist the temptation to take a few pictures. | |
| There is a serenity that settles in on the shore line on a July afternoon that is hard to describe in any way except visually. | |

| One last ride before the sun sets | I'll bet you didn't know there was a light house out there. |
Mr. Magic Raven (front center) needs some work done on his neck. Everyone else looks great. |
Mrs. Magic Raven and Connie compare notes about husbands. |

| The conversation continues as the Magic Raven flies by. | Some photographers claim this is the best time of the day to shoot pictures. The light house had just turned on and one wayward sail boat was making its way back into the harbor. But the Magic Raven's feet were getting tired, dinner was about to be served so it was time to walk back to Don's fairy tale house on the beach. |
